Your health and the Toronto neighbourhood you live in!
March 28, 2014
There is certainly no shortage of neighbourhood rankings in Toronto.
The Star recently published an article summarizing a study that ranked neighbourhoods “based on 15 criteria like employment, high school graduation rates, mortality, green space, walkability and the prevalence of diabetes.”
On the heels of that study, Toronto Life has the results of a study done by St. Michael’s Hospital, along with a number of other organizations, that have ranked Toronto’s neighbourhoods, showing how they fare in 15 health-related categories. The executive report is worth the read, it’s interesting to see how different parts of the city fared in the different categories.
