Word on the Street celebrates 25 years! The event takes place at Queen’s Park Circle between 11am and 6pm on Sunday, September 21 and features an almost overwhelming number of stages, events and authors.
Among the highlights are Shawn Micallef reading from his book The Trouble with Brunch: Work, Class and the pursuit of Leisure and at 3pm Robin Doolittle and Robert Rotenberg will be discussing her book Crazy Town: The Rob Ford Story.
It’s also an opportunity to check out specialty booksellers like Mabel’s Fables, Type Books and the U of T Bookstore.
Budding authors will want to check out ‘What I Learned in America’, Publishing in the USA featuring three authors: Eva Stachniak, Cathy Marie Buchanan and Ania Zado sharing their stories.
