Toronto Events: Winterlicious: January 30th to February 12th

Winterlicious starts on January 30th… just in time to help you beat the February blahs.
In addition to the tried and true favourites (Canoe, Il Fornello, Rosewater), there are some new additions, including Susur’s Luckee and Michael’s on Simcoe. This could also be your chance to see America, in the Trump Hotel. Or maybe it’s been a while since you’ve been to Benihana?
The City of Toronto has created a helpful webpage that allows you to filter out the restaurants by price, cuisine and location, making it easy to narrow down your choices.
In addition to the Prix Fixe lunches and dinners, there are a wide range of other food-related events. Many are sold out, but Oliver and Bonacini is hosting “Dessert for dinner,” where you can learn how to make truffles. Ticket are still available for this event. Also still available: “Bees & Honey: From Flower to Table” at Globe Bistro, this event includes a wine and canapé reception, five-course tasting menu and a bee-related take home gift.
