Winter Skating at the Bentway (December 22nd-January 31st)
We know that this winter won’t be easy, and we know how important it will be to find a way to get outside get outside for fitness and recreation. That’s why we are taking all precautions necessary to ensure that the winter skating experience is both safe and fun. Your safety is our priority. We will be adhering to the City and province’s public health guidelines and recommendations.
Furthermore, as we know, this winter will be toughest for the most vulnerable Torontonians. While skating at The Bentway is always free, we’re asking you to help us support those in need by donating a small amount ($5 suggested) to the creation of Winter Care Kits for our community members experiencing poverty and homelessness. Please make your donation when you register on Eventbrite.

Rolling Live Studios Presents a Bowie Celebration (January 8th)
A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day! is a global stream that will bring together incredible artists from around the world connected to David Bowie including at least one Bowie alumni band member from every studio album (and more) from his 1969 self titled album to Blackstar, his final album. This is NOT your standard generic Zoom based show. This is a full concert, beautiful, cinematic, and special with 3+ hours of music in celebration of Bowie’s life and legacy. The virtual music experience will be available to rewatch on demand for 24 hours.

Fringe Next Stage Community Booster (January 21st-24th)
This four-day event will be a boost of energy, ideas, creativity, and friendship for those enduring an isolated pandemic winter.
The event will feature digital performances from acclaimed indie artists, livestreamed conversations on urgent topics, online workshops that focus on mental health and self-care, and more.
DesignTO is about creativity, community and experimentation. The 2021 DesignTO Festival is our first “distanced and digital” event. What does this mean? We have included a wide range of programming that can be experienced virtually from the comfort of your own home, or viewed in-person at a distance, by appointment or from outdoors.
Stay at Home With Some Amazing Music (January 24th)
Pianist and Royal Conservatory alumna will perform works by Dawn Davi, Nauroz Tanya, Kathryn Knowles, Nikolai Kapustin, Brian Current, as well as a world premiere of one of her own compositions.
