Progress Festival (January 30th February 15th)
2020 marks the 5th edition of Progress. Progress is an international festival of performance and ideas presented in partnership by SummerWorks Performance Festival and The Theatre Centre. The festival is collectively curated and presented by a rotating series of Canadian organizations, operating within a contemporary performance context.
Winter Craft Beer Festival (February 1st)
Celebrate Craft Beer the most Canadian way! Get your parka, long johns, and all the flannel you can find, its Winter Craft Beer Fest time again! Join us with your favourite Ontario Craft Brewers outside Steam Whistle Brewing in Roundhouse Park for another year of beer, food and fun.
What to expect:

2) Over 40 Breweries
3) Campfires and Marshmallows
4) Photo Station

Bloor-Yorkville IceFest (February 8th-9th)
Toronto’s premier cultural district will become a showcase of incredible ice sculptures and live ice carving demonstrations.
The 80’s are back baby and this year’s event will be spectacular as we feature the Awesome 80’s, transforming the neighbourhood into a magical display of over 70,000 lbs. of crystal-clear ice carved into magnificent sculptures inspired by the music, art, film and fashion of an awesome decade. All things 80’s are retro-cool again!
Patrons can expect to be dazzled by these ice creations at the Main Ice Exhibition located beside “The Rock” in the Village of Yorkville Park, which will include an 80’s sculpture, a Boombox, an Elton John silhouette, Converse sneaker, Madonna – Desperately Seeking Susan, Leg Warmers & Heels, Andy Warhol, a Roller Skate and Eddie Van Halen!
Wavelength Winter Festival (February 13th-16th)
Wavelength Music Series is warming up winter with our 20th anniversary WINTER FESTIVAL Celebration Thursday, February 13 – Sunday, February 16 at Longboat Hall Toronto, Sonic Boom and The Garrison!
This year marks Wavelength Music’s 20th anniversary year, and today, they’ve announced the lineup for their 2020 Wavelength Winter Festival. The festival, which runs from February 13th to 16th, 2020, will feature performances from astounding artists like Haviah Mighty, The Hidden Cameras, Les Mouches, Sheenah Ko, Torii Wolf, Little Scream, Yves Jarvis, and more.
Canadian International Auto Show (February 14th-23rd)
Whether you’re a die-hard gearhead, or simply appreciate the allure of a nice car, you can get your automotive fix at this year’s Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto.
With more than a thousand cars, trucks, concept vehicles and classic cars, there is plenty to see, do and drive. So, start your engines and enjoy this exciting event.
The GTA Home Show (February 14th-17th)
We’ve renovated! The GTA Home & Reno Show is now the Home Show, Home Improvement Edition! Whether you’re transforming your garage into a music studio or your basement into a home gym, the Home Show, Home Improvement Edition has over 300 vendors and experts like HGTV’s Scott McGillivray to make it happen!
Mac And Cheese Festival (February 14th-16th)
North America’s largest Mac and Cheese Festival returns and is coming in hot to bring you a massive Valentine’s weekend festival from February 14-16, 2020. In just one month, the Small Arms Inspection Building is going to be overrun with mac and cheese lovers.
The Mac and Cheese Festival brings together the most skilled mac bosses under one roof to prepare signature dishes and present their ooey-gooey cheesy menus directly to you – along with plenty of wine, cocktails, margaritas and craft beer. There will be 40+ over-the-top mac and cheese creations for Valentine’s weekend!
Family Day At The Zoo (February 15th-17th)
Explore the Toronto Zoo this Family Day Weekend! Experience over 10 kilometres of wintery trails and visit Canadian and Tundra animals in their natural winter habitats. Then, enter into the warmth of one of our five indoor tropical pavilions and take in a Carnivore Feeding or one of our daily Keeper Talk, all free with Zoo admission!
The Outdoor Adventure Show (February 21st-23rd)
The Outdoor Adventure Show is the largest consumer show in Canada that brings together buyers and sellers of outdoor adventure products & services. The Camping Showcase offers a one-stop-shop for all your camping needs and the Adventure Travel Pavilion will bring together representatives from destinations in all corners of the globe.
The Artist Project (February 20th-23rd)
On February 20-23, over 300 talented independent artists will showcase their artwork at the Better Living Centre in Toronto for Artist Project 2020.
