Filipino Restaurant Month (April)
The first Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada debuted in Toronto last year, and now the prix fixe restaurant festival is back for a second year.
Taking place throughout the month of April, the prix fixe menus are intended to highlight the diversity of Filipino cuisine and the creativity of Filipino chefs.
40 restaurants across seven Canadian provinces and 18 cities participated in 2022, and they’re hoping even more will participate this year.
Toronto Vintage Show (April 1st and 2nd)
Under the same roof as the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show, the Toronto Vintage Show returns to the Queen Elizabeth Building at Exhibition Place onSaturday April 1st (10am-6pm) and Sunday April 2nd (10am-5pm), 2023!
You know all those cool and unique vintage décor items that you come across every now and then? We’ve got them all at the Toronto Vintage Show! Tons of one-of-a-kind and vintage finds plus Canada’s best vintage clothing vendors -all under one roof.
Cirque Du Soleil Kooza (April 7th-June 18th)
KOOZA is an innovative journey viewed through the perspective of The Innocent, an endearing yet naïve clown looking for his place in the world. A mystery item is delivered to The Innocent one day when he is flying his kite. The self-discovery journey of The Innocent, who is miraculously transferred to a bizarre but exotic world, is followed in KOOZA under the watchful eye of an enigmatic trickster with remarkable abilities.
Toronto Beaches Easter Parade (April 9th)
On Sunday, April 9, 2023, the annual Beaches Easter Parade will take place at 2 p.m. and run from Queen Street East and Munro Park Avenue, and continue along Queen Street East to Woodbine Avenue.
A full road closure will take place on Queen Street East, and parts of Nursewood Road, Woodbine Avenue, and Lake Shore Boulevard East.
A number of secondary roads will also be closed or partially closed, affecting traffic flow in the area.
Toronto Blue Jays Home Opener (April 11th)
Welcome your Blue Jays back to Rogers Centre for the 2023 season with the Home Opener presented by TD on Tuesday, April 11. There have been many changes this Offseason including entirely new & renovated Outfield spaces at Rogers Centre. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for their first chance to experience the brand new Outfield District!

Toronto’s celebration to mark Ramadan will return to Nathan Phillips Square after two years of cancellations caused by the pandemic. Join us on Friday, April 14th to celebrate the diversity and inclusion that makes Toronto so vibrant and special. In the spirit of Ramadan, we invite Torontonians and visitors alike to come together and participate in the simple but powerful act of sharing a meal. In addition to delicious food, the evening will also be filled with fun, live music and fireworks! The event will start at 7pm with remarks at 7:30pm along with the sunset breaking of the fast and entertainment taking place at 8:02pm.

Art Battle Toronto (April 25th)
Join Art Battle Toronto for night full of community and creation!
Come watch as artists transform blank canvases into beautiful pieces of art in 3 rounds of just 20 minutes, and then help vote to determine the winner of the event!
All artwork will also be available for silent auction.
