Waterfront Artisan Market: July 30-August 1
A new destination for visitors and a premium weekend outing for people across the city, the Waterfront Artisan Market (WAM) presented by The Waterfront BIA in partnership with Toronto Market Company (TMCo), brings together a carefully curated mix of more than 50 artisans, crafters, chefs and bakers.
The WoofJocks Canine All-Stars: July 30 to August 1
The WoofJocks Canine All Stars will be back at Purina PawsWay for the civic long weekend! This popular team of professional dog trainers and of course, their very talented dogs, offer a 30-minute variety show that is both educational and entertaining. Each show is choreographed to music, showcasing tricks, agility, Frisbee, musical freestyle, precision obedience drills and fun, audience interactive canine games and more!
Shakespeare in High Park: Hamlet & All’s Well That Ends Well: Summer 2016

For its 34th Season in Toronto’s High Park, Canadian Stage presents Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy Hamlet and bold and brilliant romance All’s Well That Ends Well on alternating evenings throughout the summer. Toronto East General Hospital Foundation’s 10th Annual Danforth Dash Bed Race: August 5
Kick up your heels with a bed on wheels!
We’re excited to announce that the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 113 will return as Presenting Sponsor at the 10th Annual Danforth Dash Bed Race, which is set to kick off Krinos Taste of the Danforth, on Friday August 5th, 2016!
Friendly competition and raising funds for a great cause is what the Bed Race has been about for the last decade. Join us to see who can bring the heat to the street in support of Michael Garron Hospital! Proceeds will go to priority needs at the Michael Garron Hospital to enhance patient care for our community.
Family Nature Walks in High Park: August 2016
Walks are led by volunteer scientists, historians, and local naturalists who will help you to understand and explore High Park’s many significant features. Walking Tours are volunteer-led with the support of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation.
Artwalk in the Square: August 12 to August 14
For 18 years the Artists’ Network has been showcasing ARTWALKS in Toronto featuring local artists in fine art outdoor festivals. For the 3rd year, we are heading north again! We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with CF Shops at Don Mills to host ArtWalk in the Square, with over 60 established and emerging artists exhibiting painting, photography, mixed media, printmaking, drawing, glass and sculpture. It is a dynamic and fun event, free and open to the public, visitors and the community can experience art all in one area over three days.

Under The Stars: Movies in The Park is a free outdoor summer screening series hosted by Regent Park Film Festival every Wednesday from July 13 to August 24. Coming in August: The Jungle Book, Pather Panchali, Boy and Purple Rain.
Sail-In Cinema: August 18 to 20
PortsToronto presents Sail-In Cinema™, the world’s first two-sided floating movie experience of it’s kind.
On August 18-20, 2016 Canada’s Sugar Beach will transform into Toronto’s largest outdoor movie theatre. Movies will be shown under the open skies on a two-sided screen set atop a barge in Toronto Harbour. You can watch movies for free from Sugar Beach or Lake Ontario.
If you’ve got your sea legs, you can come to the movies by boat and drop anchor.
If you’re a landlubber, bring a chair, a cushion or a picnic blanket.
