The five weirdest food trends to watch for in 2014

I’m sure we can all think of food trends that have swept the city. All of a sudden it seems like every restaurant is serving .. quinoa, butternut squash, tiramisu for those who can remember the 90s. The question is whether it’s a coincidence or if they’re all reading the same articles.
The National Restaurant Association has published their predictions for what will be hot in 2014, including gluten-free dishes, sharing small plates, draft wine, ethnic inspired breakfast items and hybrid desserts. Click here for the full report.
