Royal Agricultural Winter Fair: November 7-16 2014

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair has been a Toronto tradition since 1922!
One of the highlights is the horse show, but there are also agricultural competitions featuring giant vegetables, butter sculptures and maple syrup and cheese competitions.
Sheridan Nurseries has a winter gallery featuring Christmas trees, plus there’s a Food and Lifestyle stage, which will host a Royal Chef Challenge along with food and cooking demonstrations. Perhaps the oddest event at the fair? Rabbit jumping – hopefully not before they are turned into stew.
There’s even a petting farm for the little ones.
