Restored Heritage Facade in Yorkville- 36 Hazelton

When it comes to Toronto condos, it seems like most developers feel more is better. However, the building at 36 Hazelton Lane in Yorkville that is approaching completion has only 19 suites. One of the other interesting features is how the builder has incorporated a heritage building into the design.
The old 34 Hazelton Lane was home to St. Basil’s Catholic School, in a building dating back to 1928. The developers clearly put a lot of thought into the design, incorporating the school into the streetscape, which is mostly 2 and 3 storey Victorian Houses.
