Radio City Condominiums: Toronto Condos Reviewed!
March 25, 2011
Today was a great day for sure; I helped a woman transferring into Toronto from out West… we saw 5 condos on our first outing and I guess I saved the best for last because the last one is the one she bought. She was successful in her bid to buy a condo in Radio City Condominiums.
I have to tell you for all the condos I’ve seen in my day to day travels, the condos at Radio City just make sense. Whether you’re looking at the largest or the smallest they all allow for creative furniture placement and the chance to express your individual, interior design style, all within a calm, modern day aesthetic. Sure some might say that entering into it’s 7th year of existence, Radio City might be a little too ‘standard finish’ for those that long for the sparkle and wow of NEW but they probably haven’t seen some of the swank upgrades owners have done to their kitchens and baths… also, you can’t deny the genius of the layouts and floor plans… someone had their thinking cap on at the drafting table!
Depending on the choices the original buyer made when purchasing from Context (the developer), one can expect to find 9′ stucco, flat or concrete ceilings with large floor to ceiling (or almost) windows that let in an abundance of light and extend the interior space to the outside. Kitchens offer flat front cabinetry in birch, teak or dark stain and the counters are often granite. If you’re lucky the original buyer upgraded to gas so that you can enjoy a gas stove, fireplace or even a bbq on your balcony. Every suite has a balcony or at least a Juliette offering calm and connected urban neighbourhood views or soaring city views extending to the lake and beyond.
One of my favorite investor tips about Radio City is that although the neighbourhood has a high density or residents, the area doesn’t offer a large range of mid-priced modern condos so there is always a demand for complex and suites that come on the market don’t last long… it’s a great investment choice!
