Fall is here and it brings some gorgeous colours to the trees to help distract you from the cooler weather… have you driven up or down the DVP lately?!?! So beautiful! As if that’s not enough, there’s even a pop up at Queen and Bathurst dedicated to the season.
You don’t normally associate great design with Tim Horton’s (or great coffee, imho) but some of their cafes around the world look pretty inviting. I wonder when Toronto will get one?!?
There are a number of ways to analyze the sales numbers from September but the bottom line is that the market continues to adjust to higher interest rates and the uncertainty that surrounds potential rate increases. The end result is fewer sales (the lowest for September since 2002) and softening prices in some neighbourhoods. However, we are still experiencing a housing shortage in Toronto, which means that the market continues to motor on and has more of a chance of an early comeback. As with any market, we never know when we’ve hit bottom or the peak, so making a move is best timed more around need and affordability and less about market trends.
