New York Real Estate: Tour the $12-million Brooklyn mansion that could set a real estate record

We’re all used to hearing stories about the exorbitant prices that New York real estate commands in Manhattan (the most expensive apartment in NYC was listed for $125M this spring), but now it’s happening in one of the borroughs – Brooklyn. One brownstone sold recently for $11M and this brownstone has been listed for $12M. In nearby Park Slope, a townhouse is going for just over $3M, a relative bargain, although it doesn’t have either pedigree or the curb appeal.
