Is there anything more civilised than afternoon tea?

The Grid has identified their top four spots in the city for tea and crumpets. Oddly enough, there is no mention of high tea at the King Edward Hotel, which is the first place I think of when I think of afternoon tea, which I will admit is not that often.
At least there’s something for every taste in their options… The Windsor Arms offers 45 choices of tea, plus you can rent a fancy hat. The Red Box on Queen West offers some of their selections as a bento box and DT Bistro on Harbord has a chef who’s baked for the Queen, so he knows his high teas.
