How much are homes in Toronto neighbourhoods?
May 22, 2015
How much are homes in Toronto neighbourhoods? This is one of the Globe’s most popular regular features – and they’ve just published one for the first quarter of 2015.
One thing to keep in mind is this is just a snapshot. Some of the results may be skewed due to fewer listings. For instance, according to the statistics, the average home price in Cabbagetown is down 27%. However, that’s likely due to fewer detached homes being available and more condos available because you’re not going to find a even a run-down semi for less than $1M, if at all.
Conversely, Lytton Park’s average sale price is up 53% from last spring, most likely due to generally low volume of sales, except for a handful of high priced properties.
