Here’s what you need to know about Toronto’s new condo market this fall
October 16, 2015
For anyone looking at buying a new Toronto condo, BuzzBuzzHome is a great resource for a comprehensive listing of all the projects happening in Toronto. If you haven’t already noticed, there are just a few condo towers being built downtown these days…
In this latest article, they detail the Top 5 condo developments based on the number of units. Despite the terrible name, Yonge and Rich (50 storeys) tops the list with 681 units. The layered design is interesting and includes a rooftop pool. Hopefully the name fades into the background.
Second is the Art Shoppe Condos and Lofts (34 storeys) at Yonge and Eglinton with 652 units. One of the claims to fame will be “the longest infinity pool in the city, according to the developer.”
1 Yorkville is third, with 577 units spread over 58 floors. Amenities include a fire pit on the roof and an outdoor theatre.
Rounding out the top 5 are River City 3 Condos and the Harlowe at Bathurst and Richmond which will replace half a block of dilapidated old homes.

An interesting read for anybody who’s looking to get into the market or just curious about what’s happening in and around the city.
