Downtown East Planning Study and Heritage Conservation District Study

Nobody in Toronto can miss the building boom – from the cranes in the sky to the street closures and construction noise and then finally, the towers going up. What’s lacking is a cohesive plan, although the city is trying. The area of the city from Jarvis to Sherbourne and Carlton to Queen is undergoing some rejuvenation and rebuilding. If you’re curious about what’s happening or want to have your say, here’s your chance. On April 29th, the City Planning Division is holding a discussion about the future of the Downtown East from 6pm-9pm at the Ryerson International Living and Learning Centre.
