Looking for a condo, I didn’t want to end up in a very tall highrise, but in a smaller, more intimate building with lots of green space and bike paths near by. Having a condo with lots of natural light was important too, but given the intense Toronto market, I knew the search was not going to be easy and that I might not get everything on my list. I had lived in the east end and wanted to stay close to that area and remain near downtown.
Despite my reservations, my new place has everything I really wanted. The initial search was full of places that hit many things on the list, but I didn’t have that “feeling” that the place was right. Brian was great at not letting me settle, while also keeping my expectations in check. Most importantly, having worked with him before, I trusted his judgment and his advice.
We also ended up laughing a lot through the crazy process that shopping for a home in Toronto generally turns out to be. In the end, when I saw the place I liked, we were on it, and I’m happily settling in the space, loving the building and the neighbourhood and enjoying making my new place a home.
