Riverside Wine and Craft Beer Festival (April 2nd-6th)
Riverside Wine & Craft Beer Fest is an annual week-long celebration of wine and, new this year, craft beer paired with local food and shopping. Wine and craft beer lovers can delight in tasting new and established Ontario wines and locally brewed craft beers, while getting to know Riverside shops, eateries and community spaces better. It’s essentially an Ontario wine and craft beer tour – right here in Riverside!
To celebrate AGO Massive’s 15th year, we are inspired by the anniversary’s token gift, crystal. Often represented as a shimmering stone, beaming with endless light and colour, the true definition of crystal extends far past this one example. The crystal in all its forms will be brought to life through art, food, music and performance. Guests will be encouraged to wear their best sparkling attire, while clinking their glasses in celebration of 15 years of AGO Massive.
Images Festival 2019 (April 11th-18th)
Images showcases artistic excellence in contemporary moving image culture through screenings, exhibitions and performances, providing artists with a supportive forum in which to present their work and make professional connections with the media arts community.
Images presents work that counters dominant mainstream narratives and provides alternative ways of thinking and seeing that expands the understanding of media art through our programming and education-based initiatives.
Barkworks is Toronto’s latest festival for families and their four-legged friends to come together and enjoy a fun day of Easter egg hunting, live entertainment, activities, and a variety of pet-friendly vendors at our puppy pop-up market.
Proceeds from the event will be supporting The Toronto Humane Society – An organization dedicated to promoting the humane care and protection of all animals and preventing cruelty and suffering. The Toronto Humane Society provides high quality care to the animals who are surrendered to the shelter and finds them forever homes as quickly as possible.
International Fan Festival Toronto (April 19th-21st)
Toronto’s newest anime convention rolls into town on Easter weekend 2019!
International Fan Festival (IFF Toronto for short), is a multi-day, multi-fandom, Japanese-focused event. We strive to bring high quality guests, content, and experiences to the fans of Toronto. Our goal is to create a convention where fans can discover, rediscover, or reinvigorate their passions.
IFF Toronto features notable guests such as the main cast of Fate/stay night, anime song singers Megumi Nakajima and Konomi Suzuki, Youtuber and voice actor ProZD, cosplayer J Stryker, voice actor Aaron Dismuke, and more!
Earth Day Festival (April 28th)
Earth Day Festival at Downsview Park – Fun for the whole family
Earth Day at Downsview Park has been a yearly tradition tree plantings that has helped us build our urban forest; thousands of trees have been planted by families, groups and organizations which are beautifying the Park and will be enjoyed for generations to come. For our 2018 Earth Day celebration Downsview Park will offer new and different programming, which will include an afternoon of activities, stewardship and education.
Join us as we celebrate Earth Day with a variety of FREE activities for the whole family. All programs run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Hot Docs Festival (April 25th-May 5th)
Hot Docs, North America’s largest documentary festival, offers an outstanding selection of over 200 films from Canada and around the world to Toronto audiences of more than 200,000.
The 2019 Hot Docs Festival will run April 25 to May 5, 2019.

Community Night Market (April 26th)
Mill Street Brewery presents Community Night Market! On April 26th from 7-10pm The Mill Street Beer Hall will be host to live music, beer sampling and local artisanal vendors including Bella Buddha Beads, Claire Manning Design, Danielle Emily Jewelry, Outback Woodshack, Sarah Cait Co., Fifth Town Artisan Cheese, Wildwoods Nutrition Inc., Sweet Artisan Candies and more. Join us for a night in the Historic Distillery District and enjoy what the local community has to offer.
