Be clear about rental items in real estate contracts

I hate to keep harping about it, but when it comes to real estate contracts, you really have to pay attention to details and wording. It has to be specific enough that there can be no misinterpretation.
Mark Weisleder recently published a piece in the Star that talks about how one homeowner was on the hook for alarm system monitoring after he moved out. The contract wasn’t clear as to who was taking over the contract with the alarm monitoring company.
