If feels like winter will never end, doesn’t it? Even though it always feels this way and it always ends.
Short of spending three months down south, how can we get through it without resenting every second? Toronto Life has some suggestions.
Ever considered a sauna for your home? One company makes self contained units that fit in smaller spaces. There are at least 5 winter patios in the city, including a covered and heated space at Ceili Cottage in the east end. And if you’re willing to brave the cold, there’s snowshoeing, outdoor dance parties and an all-season outdoor pool at the Sheraton.
Last but not least, there are five winter festivals, including one for craft beer, the TSO’s New Creations and Yorkville’s Ice Fest.
