8 must try fried foods + Hanukkah events

Happy Hanukkah! The Festival of Lights started on Sunday evening and runs until sundown on Monday, December 14th.
There are well publicized Christmas events happening all month from the Distillery Christmas Market to the Nutcracker, but you may be surprised to learn there are half a dozen Hanukkah events happening in the city as well, plus one up in Vaughan. There’s an LGBT party at the 519 Community Centre on Wednesday, December 9 and a show called “A Very Hanukkah Christmas” on the 19th at Revival Bar!
