29th Annual Vegetarian Food Festival: September 6-8
September 4, 2013
As a Toronto Realtor, I think it’s important to not only think about the type of space or home my clients want to live in but also about how they want to live within the city and their neighbourhood. Personally, I think that living in the T-dot is amazing and there are so many diverse Toronto neighbourhood events that make living in the city a memorable experience. The Toronto Vegetarian Association’s 29th Annual Vegetarian Food Festival does just that and it’s on this weekend at Harbourfront Centre. Billed as the largest vegetarian festival in the world (an estimated 40,000 people visited last year!), you can expect to find everything from nutrition experts to clothing and cookware. There’s also a dance party on Queen West on Saturday… Woot Woot! You’ll see some of the world’s top athletes (who are vegan) and have the opportunity to learn about gluten-free vegan baking. Anyone who’s ever tried to bake without eggs or butter but wants to know about substitutes should attend this one.
There will be a wide range of talks, performances and demonstrations – this event is a must for anyone passionate about delicious, sustainable eating.
